Back from Cape Cod. My favorite part: we drove to the Easternmost point, the very tip of the Cape, to an almost deserted beach. We didn’t intend on it, but the sun started setting as we approached. No cars were around as we drove the long snaking roads. We had no cell phone service; even the XM radio became patchy. As we drove through the dunes to the beach, sunroof open, cool breeze blowing through the car, I felt content and like it was the epitome of Summer. We watched the sunset while snuggled up on a lifeguard chair, ordinarily off limits to the public, but of course this girl climbed right up with a blanket and my Christian. The best seat for for a gorgeous sunset to end a perfect day!
